Cuba and some other Latins came in when the loop was swung
around to SW/NE. The Brazilian dropped out for a bit and then
surged up again at 0646. CJBC started testing at 0650 and
wiped out the other co-channel signals. When CJBC goes off,
860 can be a "shooting gallery" for interesting Latin American

1280 BERMUDA (t), VSB2, Hamilton, NOV 3 0300 (and after) - this was
undoubtedly the US-accented religious station that I noted several
times o/u WADO during mildly auroral conditions when I was at Tom
Beaton's house in Manchester, MA. I had dismissed this as a southern
USA domestic until I saw Dave Yocis's log of it. (Thanks Dave.)
I was searching (unsuccessfully) for Tupi 1280 (Brazil) after having

w/ poorer signal. Not sure if domestic (e.g. Quebec) spur,
