I am often DX-ing Spanish stations and I have the same problem.
However, last year (may 95) I was in Spain and visited several stations.
During my visits  I collected the following info concerning Spanish MW stations:

Cadena SER local programmes:
07.20-07.30
07.50-08.00
08.20-08.30
08.50-09.00
12.20-14.00
14.05-14.30
15.07-16.00
19.00-20.00
20.15-20.25
all times are local time in Spain
Local programmes in the morning are called "Hoy por hoy"

Cadena COPE (Radio Popular) local programmes:
12.30-16.00 local time in Spain
however my experience is that they also are heard at several times in the
morning hours. Recently  I logged the following COPE stations with local
programmes
999 Madrid at 07.56 UTC
900 Bilbao at 07.36 UTC
1134 Pamplona at 06.59 UTC and 07.55 UTC and 08.03 UTC
1134 Salamanca at 08.21 UTC
1314 Valladolid at 07.57 UTC
1143 Oviedo at 08.51 UTC
1134 Astorga at 08.22 UTC with local adv
1134 Astorga at 07.43 UTC; 08.02 UTC and 08.09 UTC
1224 san Sebastian at 08.01 UTC; 08.22-08.24 local adv
1296 Valencia at 08.09 UTC
Local programmes in the morning are called " Primera Hora"

RNE Radio 5 local programmes:
every hour + 10 min / + 26 min/ + 40 min / +55 min
