PIRATE. Techno Shortwave 4795 @ 1156UTC Aug 2. Fair to good was this new 
pirate station from Tasmania, an island state off the south east coast of 
mainland Australia. Noted playing hard core techno music with live 
requests and ID's as "TSW" and "Radio Energy FM" (Edwards)

ZAMBIA. Christian Voice, Lusaka 3330 @ 1930 Aug 2. Very strong this AM 
with jingle ID's and English Bible readings. (Edwards)

BRAZIL. Radio Brasil Central 4985 @ 0750 Aug 3. Not heard this strong 
ever. Portugese chat with ballads then series of IDs on the hour. (Edwards)

PERU. Radio Huanta 2000  4747 @ 0952 Aug 3. Fair here in Spanish with 
great tunes and nice IDs at 1000. (Edwards)

ECUADOR. Radio Oriental 4780 @ 1004 Aug 3. First time heard from the 
Coorong here in Spanish at a strong level with popular songs, time checks 
and id at 1013 (Edwards)

INDONESIA. RPDT2 Ngada, Bajawa 2904 @ 1124 Aug 3. Noisy down here with 
static crashes but nice strength signal anyhow. Indo chat but mostly easy 
listening songs (Edwards)

SOUTH AFRICA. Radio Democratic Int'l 6205 @ 2137 Aug 3. Good here in 
English with compatriate songs and ID's "Radio Democratic International 
Nigeria" (Edwards)

ITALY. Radio Maria 7140 @ 0540 Aug 4. Poor here with religious service 
and choir music programming. (Edwards)

KALININGRAD. Radio ABC 7570 @ 0806 Aug 4. Very poor with occas. fair 
peaks with Danish and English music noted, two ID's as "This is Radio 
ABC" in English noted (Edwards)
