This points out one of the major shortcomings of loggings in general that has 
always bothered me.  Bear with me, as this is not a logging report.

I get Port Moresby every morning, all year long on 4890 albeit much clearer in 
the winter.  The reason - I live in the northwestern United States.  I am not 
all begrudging your logging Mark.  If I lived where you do, I would be tickled 
to recieve a station so far away.

But I have always thought that loggings in various shortwave magazines, DX 
newsletters, etc, should be grouped by geographic region on the recieving end.  
Grouped in this way, all of us would have a much clearer picture of what 
receiving condtions are like world-wide.  In addition, it would provide 
listeners in various regions with a more realistic and useful idea of what they 
are likely to receive.

This is one of the reasons I like this list.  I can compare my own reception 
with those in regions closer to mine.  It is far more useful than many logging 
lists I have seen.  Thanks to you all.
