     Summary of Tuesday night's Rockport Mini-DXpedition
     ---------------------------------------------------
     
     Bruce Conti joined me out at the pier: he will have some logs
     of his own to report.
     
     I used the "mobile DX shack" set-up with the Drake R8A receiver,
     RL-1 remotely-tuned loop, RW-1 active whip, and DCP-2 Dual
     Controller / Phaser.  The loop pattern and whip pattern were
     combined via the DCP-2 to create a cardioid array.  The temperature
     during the DX outing was about 37 F / 3 C.  Because of occasional 
     rain, I put the loop inside a large plastic box on the roof of the 
     car.  The whip amp was positioned inside the car: the whip was 
     connected to about 20 ft / 6 m of wire outside the vehicle.
     
     Full loggings will be issued later: the report will be combined
     with logs from a planned Cape Cod trip on Saturday, 8 MAR.
