Hi,

I read the following info in the germany media magazine Radio Journal
(btw, it contains mostly fm-stuff, tv and satellite infos, is in
german and they have a german web page:
http://www.mediaDD.de/rjournal/):

Radio London (yes, the old pirate !) will have a short lasting
comeback on medium wave. They got a licence for event broadcasting.
The reason is the 30. anniversary of the introduction of the marine
offences broadcasting act (August, 15, 1967) which silenced most of
the offshore stations. They have announced to btoadcast from July, 18
to August, 14 from a ship based at Frinton / Essex at the place of
resp. near the old MV Galaxy. The project is conducted by EAP, East
Anglia Productions whose manager is Ray Anderson, well-known in the
offshore community.

The thing is: they will use 1134 khz (unfortunaltely, no times or
power were given, but i think they will be on very low power only and
therefore audible locally only. So, this one is for travellers or
real pro dxers !).

hope you enjoyed it
