[HCDX]: XERTA Logged

The new Mexican shortwave station, XERTA, was logged here in the
Southeastern United States last night, October 4th between 0255 and 0330
UTC on 4800.7.  Still a strong heterodyne from the Guatemalan Radio
Buenas Nuevas on 4800, but quite readable audio was obtained by tuning to
USB.  I received a report from DXer Ed Rausch in New Jersey that the
address which had been announced in their broadcasts for reception
reports was evidently not recognized by the Mexican postal authorities,
as his reception report to that address was returned to him marked
"addressee unknown".  DXers who have reception reports to send to XERTA
may want to try this address, which appeared in the October '97 issue of
Monitoring Times:
