<<RADIO AUSTRALIA RE-INTRODUCES QSL's!!>>

As an outcome of extended discussions in Melbourne between the AUSTRALIAN
RADIO DX CLUB INC, (ARDXC) and the English Language Department of RADIO
AUSTRALIA, an agreement has been reached on 10 February 1998 between the
two organizations for the re-introduction of Radio Australia QSLs. In
recent months, Radio Australia has been unable to issue formal QSLs due to
resource limitations.

The agreement provides for

 - Reception reports received by Radio Australia's English Language
Department will be forwarded regularly to the ARDXC

 - Radio Australia will make available bulk supplies of QSLs to the ARDXC

 - ARDXC will provide suitable resources for assessment and checking of
reports, and preparation of QSLs for reports which are correct

 - ARDXC will foward completed QSLs to Radio Australia

 - Radio Australia will be responsible for mailing of QSLs

- All reception reports to be sent in the first instance to Radio
Australia, GPO Box 428G, Melbourne 3001, Victoria, Australia, and previous
reports will be processed as soon as possible.

Correct reception reports are an extremely important part of monitoring the
transmissions of Radio Australia, to ensure the best possible signal
into its target areas, and this unique agreement will be of benefit not
only to both organizations in particular, but also to the worldwide
shortwave hobby in general.

Both Radio Australia and the ARDXC look forward to a continuation of the
long-standing cooperation which has existed between the two organizations,
dating back to the foundation in 1965 of the Australian Radio DX club.
