About Radio Pasteur....

It's a radiophonic production made in a broadcast
format carried out by students of a journalism workshop of
the College Nº19 Luis Pasteur, in the city of Buenos
Aires, federal capital of the Argentina Republic.

Radio Pasteur in it's radio programme started its
broadcasting beginning in 1997, after intensives
exercises in a community station of FM radio. The project
remounts since 1995, year that Radio Pasteur started as a
speaking radio at school. Lastly the authorities of the
Education Secretary of the Buenos Aires Government
required to install the radio in different students shows
with a very important support from the students of
all the city.

At present it's composed by three radio-programmes:

*Radio Programme 1 (Sports) called 'Velez, el
Gigante del Oeste', it's broadcasted in FM90 Devoto
(90.1MHz.) every Monday from 19:00 to 21:00 local hour
(22:00 to 24:00 UTC time).

*Radio Programme 2 (Arts, Culture and Entertraiment)
called 'Ventana Abierta', it's broadcast in FM90 Devoto
every Friday from 15:00 to 16:00 local hour (18:00 to
19:00 UTC time).

*Radio Programme 3 (Ecology and Envyroment,
Customs, Traditions, Social and Human Rights,
Geography and Argentine & Latinoamerican History)
titled 'Special Radio Pasteur' it may be listened in a
special emission for FM90 Devoto (90.1 MHz.) every
Friday from 16:00 to 17:00 local hour (19:00 to
20:00 UTC time).

The Radio Pasteur Project offers to local and international
broadcasts a weekly hour time named 'Special Radio
Pasteur' about Ecology and Envyroment, Customs,
Traditions, Social and Human Rights, Geography and
Argentine & Latin American History.

As a cassette it is free distributed by mail and is offered
to broadcast AM, FM and Short Waves radiostations.
The radiophonic material is produced by young journalism
students who work with responsability and may be weekly
listened in a special emission of FM90 Devoto (90.1 MHz.),
every Fridays from 16:00 to 17:00 local hour (19:00 to
20:00 UTC time). Radio Pasteur is retransmited parcial or
complete by 30 radiostations on AM and FM of Argentina
and bordering countries. The international programme in
English is ready for the interested broadcast radios.
10 radiostations on AM and FM of North America and
Europe irradiate fortnightly the productions sent from
Argentina.

This educational project is managed by the journalist
Claudio Morales, teacher coordinator of the journalism
workshop of the College Nº19 'Luis Pasteur' in the condition
of an Editor or Managing Director.

This understanding journalism is carried out by
temporary collaborators students of the college
whose ages fluctuates from 13 and 18 years old
that make weekly the radio productions.

We don't receive any benefit of any body state and
private, only it's financed in base to donations that
allow it's continuation. Like this we are exent of taxes and
paid the copyright because the students project
doesn't generate any profit.
