NEW WEB SITE UP AND RUNNING:
Well, I FINALLY got around to putting up a web page! It's at:
http://www.angelfire.com/biz/AnitaMcCormick.
I have my radio books (Access to the Airwaves, Shortwave Radio Listening
for Beginners, The Shortwave Listener's Q and A
Book), for sale there, as well as a few other books I've written on
various subjects for the Jr. High/High School age group.
My page links up with the Amazon.com book store, so people won't have to
worry about a secure connection if they want to
place an order.

*The FCC has paid a visit to a MAINE radio station that was operating
without a license. "I 97-3" was visited by an FCC agent last Tuesday
night, with a promise of a formal letter from the FCC to follow. In a
posting to a pirate radio newsgroup, the station's owner says he was
running just half a watt -- and notes that the visit came just a few
days after his station was mentioned here in NERW. The station
remains on the air, reportedly running just a tenth of a watt for the
moment.
