ATTN. TO ALL DX CONTRIBUTORS:  RE: VACATION --- Dear DX Friends, I
really appreciate you e-mail your Loggings and / or Newsletters for
contributing to TFW.  BTW, as usual, August means Vacation here in Italy
and, after work, I'll be at my summer QTH in Anzio, to avoid the Very
Hot Temperature here in Roma (with peaks of 120 degrees Fahrenheit !).
On September I' ll be on real vacation in Northen Italy and in England,
of course, with my Sony ICF 2001 D; to avoid an overload of my e-mail
box during the next two months, I kindly ask to remove TEMPORARILY my
e-mail address from your e-mail list for receiving your Loggings and /
or Newsletters. When I' ll be back from vacation,  I'll drop you a line.
Next TFW & TFW On Line # 67 will be back within the first week of
September with Tips of mine only. TFW & TFW On line will be back 100 x

Spanish comments between and during tunes. Many mentions of "Peru" and

0955- 11635- PHILIPPINES- F.E.B.C. 0955-1005 Noted a religious program
in English until the hour. On the hour ID followed by more of the same

1003- 15585- IRAN- Voice of Islamic Rep. of Iran, Sirjan, 15585.00,
28/07, 10:03, male Arabic speaker, SINPO 45333. Parallel to 17570 kHz.
Much better than the badly modulated Mashad transmitter on 15125 kHz.

Ervironmental report from Europe at 1027 followed by World News

headlines, several mentions of Programa Nasional Satu. @1106 anthem and
"Radio Republik Indonesia Warta Berita", into pop arab influenced music.

1045- 9565.02- INDONESIA- RRI Jakarta 1045-1105 Noted music and comments
from both a man and woman in Indonesian. On the hour ID given.  After a

announcement at 1059. TC for 11 hours GMT into News Now at 1100. Fair

1113- 9770- USA- VOA Delano, CA with News Now at 1113 with item about

1128- 4770- ECUADOR- Centinela del Sur, Loja 1128-1140 Songs in spanish,
commercia announcements for Smithkline-Beecham, bank Mutualista 
Pichincha. ID "Esta es la cadena radial Centinela del Sur. Radio

1131- 15374.8- CHILE- La Voz Christiana, 1131, Usual pop like rel. mx, M
w/canned ID over instru. fanfare mx hrd sev. times giving what sounded
like  the 15 and 21 mhz channels as well as 6060 khz.  Hrd later at 1224
w/tlk by W between songs w/ment of America, "mailbag", Swahili, and
Africa.   Very strong signal early on, but weakening later.  (Valko, USA

1143- 15175- BULGARIA- Radio Bulgaria with selections of piano music at
1143 and several mentions of Bulgaria. Suffered from rapid flutter
after  1150. Good July 22   (Ross, Canada)

1201- 15195-  JAPAN- Radio Canada International relay Yamata with ID by
man and into World News at 1201. News read by woman with items about 
PNG tidal wave and Canada's Foreign Affairs Minister Lloyd Axworthy's
visit to South Korea to discuss the landmine treaty. Fair July 22

1206- 6188.2- PERU- R. Oriente, Yurimaguas (presumed) 1206-1214 News,
election for mayors, sports results, then weather for several cities,
and extended forecast for Yurimaguas. "Luego de la pausa retornamos con

1245- 13820- TAJIKISTAN- Democratic Voice of Burma, Orzu, 28/07, 12:45,
interval signal and sign-on, mentioning Oslo. SINPO 45444. (Schaay, The
Netherlands)

1302- 9710- LITHUANIA- Radio Free Tibet, Sitkunai, 28/07, 13:02, Tibetan
tune, male and female speakers with presumed station ID, beginning
talks  with a mention of the Dalai Lama. SINPO 55444. (Schaay, The

1805- 15244.5- CONGO- RTV Nationale Congolaise, Kinshasa, 27/07, 18:05,
male Afro speaker in French with presumed news, talk, at  18.29 female
announcement, African songs, talks again. SINPO 23332 but improving to

1813- 15150- INDONESIA- V of Indonesia 1813 , with prg in GE w nx ,
temps , ID song andagain ID , with song to continue 44434 (Liangas,
Greece July 20)
