The Dutch Land station for the Maritime Mobile Service 
"Scheveningenradio/PCH", founded 19 December 1904 is going to close service

31 December 1998 15.00 UTC. 
At this moment of sadness to the personal they don't think of contacts with

others, but at the anniversary day December 19th they will give a FAREWELL 
PARTY on the air. The Dutch government agreed to use the coast station 
frequencies to make contact with radio amateurs in their bands primarily
for 
(ex-)Radio Officers to say good bye. 
Cross Band as usual on HF Maritime Mobile Service! 
But any licensed station is invited to join the party and make a QSO on one

of the last days of PCH: 
The schedule is: 
19-12 17.00 UTC - 20-12 07.00 UTC CW on one the following frequencies 
depending propagation conditions with the call sign of Scheveningenradio: 
PCH . .: 
   3525 kHz +/- QRM 
   7025 kHz 
  14050 kHz 
  18085 kHz  19-12 08.00 UTC - 20-12 08.00 UTC there are also stations 
on air with call sign PA6PCH: 
SSB on 144,315 MHz 
SSB on 3670 kHz and on the HF-bands the club station of the Radio Club 
Kennemerland PI4RCK is also on air with the PCH call (PA6PCH). 
For every station making QSO with one of the FAREWELL PARTY stations there 
is one special QSL card but it is not a CONTEST  Regards and cuagn 19-12  &
