Two points here... the soil is very rich and loamy and holds moisture
well... nary a rock or stone in sight! Our area is well-known for the
quality of our soil and has very large areas of commercial vegetable
gardens... secondly, the reason I asked whether the tower should be earthed
or not, was purely to find out if it was better unearthed for some
reason...
