21500 Voz Cristiana, 1900 noted with news and sports in Spanish then
English drama "Revival in the Land". Stronger than // 21550. Ormandy Nov 9

CROATIA

6235 Hrvatski R, 0600 very good in Croatian, not parallel international
service. Ormandy Nov 10

ECUADOR

15115 HCJB 1900 very good in English, heard past 2030. Ormandy Nov 9

FRENCH GUIANA

21685 RFI, 1900 presumed location, poor though clear signal in French with
news in // 9485. Also noted at 1009 in // 21580 & 21620. Ormandy Nov 12

GERMANY

13820 HRTV via Deutsche Telekom, 0600 fair signal in English with short
newscast then into Croatian, to Australia-New Zealand. Ormandy Nov 11

GERMANY

17820 Deutsche Welle, 0600 location presumed to be FRG, fair signal in
English in // to 21695, 11785, 9565 and 7225, the last two giving best
reception, and also on 6045 though partially blocked. Ormandy Nov 10

15275 Deutsche Welle, 1900 location presumed, good signal in English, //
15135, 13690, 11810, 11785, 9765 & 9640, heard with world news then
"News-link" program. Ormandy Nov 10

INDIA

15075 AIR 1900 poor-fair in English, much stronger on 15200 and also noted
on 11620, 9950 and 7410. Ormandy Nov 10

KUWAIT

15110 R Kuwait, 0500 very good signal in English with look at Kuwaiti
history? interesting enough! Ormandy Nov 9

ROMANIA

11775 R Romania Int, 0642 very good signal in English, in // 9625, 9510 &
7105 all audible at varying levels. Ormandy Nov 13

17790 R Romania Int, 0600 weak in English, better on // 21480. Ormandy Nov

RUSSIA

17570 Voice of Russia, 0600 fair signal in English, // 17495, 21790, 15525
& 15470. Ormandy Nov 10

9775 Voice of Russia, 1900 fair signal in English, //9745, 7340, 7310 &
5965 (all suffering heavy QRM) and poor-fair signal on 5940. Ormandy Nov 11

SOUTH AFRICA

17870 Channel Africa, 1800 fair signal in English till 1830 then into
French. Is scheduled with English at 1700 and Portuguese 1730 on new
frequency of 17860, a change from Oct 25 schedule of 17870. Ormandy Nov 11

SPAIN

15215 Radio Exterior, 0700 very good signal in Spanish to Australia/New
Zealand though some slight co-channel QRM. // 15480 was clearer though
slightly weaker. Ormandy Nov 10

SRI LANKA

21585 Deutsche Welle, 0600 mixing product here between 21640 & 21695, also
noted on 21750. Ormandy Nov 10

UK

13720  Merlin Network One, 0700 poor signal even though this is apparently
beamed in this direction (Oceania), much better on 17630 & 21550. Ormandy
Nov 10

USA

25910 USA WJFT(?)1850 somewhere in Florida, mentioned Palm Beach, another
US FMing here and presumably some linking facility. Others heard on 25870,
25950 & 26470. Ormandy Nov 12
