1037- 5995- AUSTRALIA- R. Austrialia, Brandon 10 Kw xtmr site in EE,
1037-1100,  with nx broadcast. Programming is // 9580.  Fair to weak
copy  but audible. (Montgomery 28 Nov PA, USA)

1038- 4975.15- PERU- Radio Del Pacifico 1038-1045 Noted Huaynos music
with Spanish comments from a woman. Signal was fair but getting hit with
splatter. (Bolland, USA November 26)

1039- 7003.42- PERU- Radio La Voz de las Huarinjas, 1039-1115, OA
camposina music (some quite lively) with voice-over announcements by
live man after almost every song.  Caught a clear canned ID by different
man at 1102 bracketed by the live man announcer talking.  There was also
a possible ID at 1053 was well.  Heard mentions of "Esperanza" and
possibly Arequipa at 1043, tarde at 1057, amigos oyentes at 1103, and
"...ondas internacional" and Peru at 1113.  Signal had short peaks, but
was very weak mostly.  The signal was quite nice during a brief peak at
1104.  There was also CW QRM.  I was surprised to be able to ID this

1040- 4970.95- PERU-Radio Imagen 1031-1040 Noted Huaynos music
initially, followed by Spanish comments from a man. Signal was poor with
splatter from nearby Venezulian station. (Bolland, USA November 26)

1042- 7415- PIRATE EUROPE- Int.Music R (in USB), Nov 29, Mx,ID,QTH in EG
33333 (Pecolatto, Italy / Radiorama Pirate News)

1042- 5035.12- BRAZIL- Radio Aparecida, presumed 1042-1055 Man and woman
in Protuguese comments until 1044, then noted ADs presented.  After
series of ADs, back to comments. Signal was fair. (Bolland, USA November
26)

1044- 5460.2- PERU- R. Bolivar (pres.; fqy var ), 1044-1055, Was on
5460.4 at tune in. Drifted down to 5460.2 during announcement by woman
at  1048, then suddenly jumped up to 5460.5 at 1049.  Impassioned speech
by man (religious??) with occasional break.  Fady signal, and became
completely inaudible after around 1055.  After the initial heavy
drifting pre 1049, the signal would occasional drift for a second or

1050- 11401- PIRATE EUROPE- R.Waves Int, Nov 29,  Mx,ID, jingles in EG 
33333 (Pecolatto, Italy / Radiorama Pirate News)

1053- 6204.3- PERU- Radio Cuzco 1053-1105 Noted Huaynos music for few
minutes followed by Spanish comments from a man. Signal was poor.

1055- 6239.8- COLOMBIA- La Voz de la Resistencia 1055-1120 Noted long
version of music until 1105, then martial type music presented.. This
followed by ID and frequency. Audio too screwed up by QRM to copy. After
ID, back to music. Signal was fair. (Bolland, USA November 25)

1100- 12256- PIRATE EUROPE- Wrekin R.Int, Nov 29, .Mx pop, ID in EG
23332 (Pecolatto, Italy / Radiorama Pirate News)

1100- 4890- PAPUA NEW GUINEA- NBC Port Moresby, 1100-1300,  EE 
broadcast.  Sat at this time is the top 20 hit  list of Papua New
Guinea. Very  good mx program and have heard it for the fast few Sat.
mornings.  In total English // 3385.  3385 off at 1215 but program
continues on 4890.  Lots of ids  by m/ann.  Good copy at this time.

1104- 5522.22- PERU- Radio SudAmerica 1104-1120 Noted typical music,
ADs, and ID as "Radio Sud America .." Signal was good. (Bolland, USA
November 26)

1120- 5678.01- PERU- R. Ilucan @ 1120 Huyanos and mx played on flute.
Excited talks and several ID's by male anncr.  (Rippel, USA 11/22)

1139- 6275- UNITED KINGDOM- BBC 1139-1200 in EE // 6195, 5965.  ID hrd
at 1150 by m/ann. Fading down below noise floor and back up again at
1155.  Have heard here back in October and again today.  Not sure where
the xtmr is located as no one has it listed.  Possible spur but not
sure.  Much weaker than 6195 but programming and timing exact with no
time delays.  Off exactly 1200 utc ( Montgomery, USA 25 Nov.)

1140- 6937- CHINA PR.- Yunnan PBS (Presumed) @ 1140  Back to back CC mx
and no ID/anncs of any kind at the T.O.H.  Been also hearing what is
presumably this station in the afternoons around 2300. (Rippel, USA
11/29)

1145- 6300- TAIWAN- WYFR  from Taiwan xtmr in  Chinese, 1145-1215,
complete ID in EE and spelling of radio station title and address by f /
m ann.  Then to interval signal and back to programming at 1204 with
m/ann in Chinese. Very weak prior to 1145, just above noise floor. By
1145 audible. and peaking at 1205.  Signal level back down by 1210 and
still audible at 1215.  Religious programming with singing.  First time
hrd here. 6200-6400 is a daily check here.  (Montgomery  24 Nov PA, USA)

1200- 9505- PHILIPPINES- R. Veritas Asia  @1200 with several ID's by YL 
in EE. "This is Radio Veritas Asia broadcasting from the Phillipines." 
Into  Indonesian service as announced by OM at 1201. Mixing with, but
dominant over co channel Kazakh Radio 2. (Rippel, USA 11/22)

1215- 11940.346- CAMBODIA- National Voice of Cambodia @ 1215. Excellent
SEA mx at suprisingly good levels.  First time this week and am
wondering, what with their absence from this frequency, if there is some
problem.  (Rippel, USA 11/29)

1225- 6210- PIRATE EUROPE- R.Marabu, 11/21, -Mx rock,ID in GM, EG 23322 
(Pecolatto, Italy / Radiorama Pirate News)

1344- 9740- SINGAPORE- BBC relay Kranji with News Hour program hosted by
Julian Marshall with item about new ferry service between Iraq and
United Arab Emirates at 1344. (Ross, Canada Nov 7)

1352- 9760- PHILIPPINES- VOA relay Tinang with News Now program and item
about Newt Gingrich at 1352. Time check by woman announcer at 1352.

1410- 5256- BELARUS- Radio Mayak Relay 1410 In USB: Male in Russian, ID
at 1415. A bit too tough to get this one right, although signal strength

1420- 6284- PIRATE EUROPE- Farmers from Holland, Nov 29, Folk mx, ID in
Dutch 33333 (Pecolatto, Italy / Radiorama Pirate News)

1430- 4855- BELARUS (may be)- Radio Mayak relay 1430-1505* In USB: News,
vocal music in Russian,but also Joe Cocker's 'You are so beautiful'.
Missed the the .20 and .40 interval signal. Off at 1505 and at that
moment parallel to 3345, another relay in USB which continued after 4855
closed down. Also // 1566 kHz. Strong signal. (Pijpers, The Netherlands

1440- 26470- USA- WJFP; Fort Pierce FL, Nov 27, 1440-1502, Usual
preacher. Presumed and parallel to a stronger 25910. Weak. (Pijpers, The

1450- 26450- USA- WLW; Cincinnati OH, Nov 28, 1450-1512, Some clear
moments during generally noisy NFM reception: '...Newsradio 700..',
news,  Clinton addressing the Nation, mentioning Thanksgiving Day, a
couple of IDs like 'WLW. Cincinnati' and a fragment of an URL. (Pijpers,
The Netherlands) 25222

1450- 5290- RUSSIA- Radio Rossii, Krasnoyarsk 1450-1501 Two stations
mixing: the weak one,  probably Radio Perm , with western popmusic
(Bryan Adams etc.), the strong one also with popmusic and ID'ing as

1505- 25870- USA- WFLA; Tampa FL, Nov 27, 1505-1520, Plenty of IDs,
weather, Dow Jones etc. Seasonal mood with fragment of 'Jinglebell
Rock'. In  NFM. Fair. (Pijpers, The Netherlands)

1525- 4895- INDIA- AIR Kurseong 1525-1535 All about Pakistan in
vernacular followed at 1530 by ID and 'The News at Nine'. Very good
signal with other station underneath.// 3245, 3365, 4775, 4800, 4840,
4940, 4950. (Pijpers The Netherlands Nov 21)

1529- 6130- CHINA PR- Xizang People's Broadc. Stn., Lhasa, 20/11 ,
15:29, male and female speakers in Mandarin. From about 15.30 popular
Chinese  songs, presented by female speaker. At 15.45 short announcement
by male speaker and off the air. SINPO 24333. (Schaay, The Netherlands)

1535- 4950- INDIA- AIR Srinagar 1535-1550 News in English,  mostly about
Pakistan and a 'This is All India Radio' ID. Mention of Kashmir after
the news, but again a general ID and continuing with news in vernacular.

song, ID and talk in "La mujer de hoy en America Latina", SINPO 25333,
parallel to much stronger 21500 kHz. 3 Minute transmission break on both

1600- 4060.42- CLANDESTINE- V.o.People of Kurdistan in Kurdish & AR,
again noted on this fqy on 11/21  1600-1613, with M tlk, mx pauses, ID:
Aira dangi gelli kurdistana, fqy quote (ment megahertz), AR pgm at 1602,
with M nx till 1610 (ment Kossovo, Serbia),  mx pause, IDs:
Huna.....(unclear), mx pause & tlk. F/P (Serra, Italy)

1607- 7999.95- CLANDESTINE- Voice of Sudan, Eritrea, 20/11, 16:07, male
speaker in Arabic, mentioning Iraq. SINPO 33343. Sub standard
modulation, with hum in AM and no USB component available. (Schaay, The

1802- 17870- SOUTH AFRICA- Channel Africa in EG  1802-1828, appeared
when RAI Roma bird chirping off at 1802, ith W nx, ID at 1804, ancmt
into pgm: business African segment (with corresp.s & ID s), IS at 1825,
then M    Ids. fair (Serra, Italy 11/21)

1805- 5025- BENIN- ORTB 11/23  1805-1812, pop song, afropop, ancmts &
tlk. (QRN strong statics)P  (Serra, Italy)

1817- 6802.5- UNID- UnID R. 1817  Utterly nondescript offering of
informal Arabic chatter punctuated by various kinds of musical bridges,
also Middle Eastern vocals. Possible "idha'at" ID at 1900. At 2000, 5+1
time pips followed by presumed news by woman. Same at 2100, including
mumbled, casual ID that sounded like "... min idha'a-t [?kih shih zay
AIR?]," and news by woman. Around 2145, switched to seeming French
influenced African vernacular; no pips at 2200. Continued in this
language till transmitter cut off at 2300 in mid sentence. Faint at tune
in, then built to impressive level by 2000 or so. Not a subharmonic of
13605 nor a Jordan spur from 7155. Possibly V. of Lebanon up from the
6550 region, although it sounded more like something from Mauritania or

easy listening songs, very relaxing, low pitch male announcer. SINPO
24222 most of the time, but peaking to 34232 at times. Ocassional SITOR
A interference from presumed Spanish Guardia Civil station. (Schaay, The

1857-  6841.9- SOMALIA- R. Hargeisa (in USB) 1857  Probably this with
Qur'an till abrupt cutoff at 1859; very weak. Nothing there on

1858- 11620- INDIA- All India Radio with ID by man "You are tuned to the
General Overseas Service of All India Radio" at 1858 followed by a short
piece of instrumental Indian music. ID repeated at 1900 with a time

1900- 9535- THAILAND- R.Thailand in EG, 1900-1914, M / ID, W nx till
1907, M / cmntry abt Thailand/Lebanon relationship (till 1912), anthem,
W ancmt, M / economic cmntry. (QRM co channel, splat) F/P (Serra, Italy 
11/ 22)

1905- 15410- MOROCCO- VOA relay Briech with News Now program at 1905
with item about Spain requesting extradition of Augusto Pinochet from

1917- 5940- RUSSIA- V.O. Russia, 1917, Piano music, EG program
"reminder" with ID by M.  Good.  (Valko, USA 21 Nov.)

1931- 9535- THAILAND- V.O. Thailand, 1931, Soft instrumental local
music, man in EG with ID as "The Voice of Thailand", and program
focusing on Thai life. Fair.  (Valko, USA 21 Nov.)

1933- 9895- NETHERLAND- Radio Nederland, Flevo with ID by woman at 1933.
News items followed from Turkish Army and PKK and the border situation
with Iraq. Local weather in Holland followed at 1935. "Sincerely Yours",
a listeners feedback program hosted by Howard Shannon followed at 1936.

1947- 11540- SOUTH AFRICA- Radio Kudirat, Meyerton with news items about
Nigeria at 1947 and ID by woman at 1948. Program "Week In Review" with
items affecting Nigeria this past week followed. Instrumental musical
selection followed. (Ross, Canada Nov 8) 

1950- 11570.1- PAKISTAN- Radio Pakistan with talk by man in French at
1950. Pakistan mentioned by man at 1953 and 1958. NA followed (wobbly
audio). (Ross, Canada Nov 8) 

1958- 15150.02- INDONESIA- V.O. Indonesia, 1958, Soft island music, then
woman with simple EG ID "This is the Voice of Indonesia in Jakarta",
Gamelan music bridge, another ID with beams and then R. Canada Int.
popped on and wiped them out.  Pretty decent before RCI.  (Valko, USA 21

2000- 5060- UZBEKISTAN- R.Tashkent in German, 11/28  2000-2007, // 5025
& 5035, lcl song, mx pause, M W tlk for poss nx, mx break & tlk. Fair

2000- 11605- ISRAEL- KOL with ID and TC by woman at 2000. News item read
by woman about car bombing on Friday in Jerusalem followed at 2001
followed by many Middle East items. Sign off announcement by woman
"Goodnight from Jeruslaem, Shalom" at 2025 followed by IS. (Ross, Canada
Nov 8) 

2038- 5470- LIBERIA- R. Veritas 2038 Gospel-sounding vocals ("Amazing
Grace," "Ode to Joy" from Beethoven's 9th), by choir and soloists. ID at
2059, "This is Radio Veritas, a service of the [unintelligible word]
Media Center. We broadcast from Monrovia." The missing word didn't sound
anything like "Catholic"--more like "Kingsfield"--and neither did the

2050- 7255- NIGERIA- Voice of Nigeria with interview at 2050 followed by
a summary of World News at 2057. ID by woman "English Service of  Voice
of Nigeria" at 2058. (Ross, Canada Nov 8)

2102- 6055- RWANDA- RTV Rwandaise  @ 2102@  Sign off announcements by YL
in EE  "This is R. Rwanda broadcasting from Kigali on 89.8 mHz ......
99.3 Mhz also, on 49MB 6055 Khz. We have come to the end of todays
transmission. We will resume tomorrow at 5AM."  followed by Male in
FF.   Good after Slovakia off at 2100.  (Rippel, USA 11/25)

2103- 9615- RWANDA- Deutsche Welle relay, Kigali with ID and News read
by woman at 2103. Weekend Review program followed at 2105. (Ross, Canada
Nov 8)

2106- 9900- CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC- R. Minurca, 2106-2150, Same mix of
music as they've been playing with occasional (mainly after every 2
songs) announcements by man in EG.  Finally caught an ID at 2115:
"...you are hearing us ?? time...R. Minurca...for a very short
time...".  Mention of Central African Republic at 2134, and at 2138
heard the fanfare Hans Johnson reported hearing followed by more talking
with mention of "...so thanks very much for your....thanks again...". 
Signal dropped way down by 2150 and was barely detectable.  Usual SP SSB
QRM too. Very weak with weak audio.  (Valko, USA 21 Nov.)

announcement by man. Announcement by woman at 2117. Armenia mentioned at
2121. Several musical selections by deep voiced male singer. 2145 sign

2115- 3930- PIRATE EUROPE- Laser Hot Hits, 11/20, Pop rock mx,ID in EG
22322  (Pecolatto, Italy / Radiorama Pirate News)

2133- 9725- CANADA- RCI with Mailbag program featuring "This Week In
History" at 2133. CIDX club mentioned at 2134. (Ross, Canada Nov 8)

2135- 4985- BRAZIL- R Brazil Central (tent) 2135 slow light music, man &
woman speaking over music (religious program?) Occ carriers on the
frequency 24232 (Liangas, Greece 19 Nov)
