After reading this, I am guessing you waited or spent 14 years trying to get
a QSL from the station.  My hat is off to you sir.  I sent out a follow up
and if no reply, they get crossed my list.  I do not have the time nor feel
like wasting money on a station that refuses to respond.  I am guessing you
slipped a buck or two in the envelope.  Very rare do I get turned down on
QSL.  One thing I have found to be very helpful is not only sliding a buck
or two in with your reception report, but I always pick some post cards at
the local airport of some interesting sites near where you live and add that
to the letter.  I find that usually gets the response.  But there is always
one that just does not understand.
