[HCDX]: Radio Panorama, Peru 5906

PERU 5906 Radio Panorama. There was a question on HCDX about the
Distrito de Recopampa, which one source has given as the location of
this station. I also can not find such a place in either the Peruvian
gazeeter (mentioned by Willi Passmann) or on my very detailed map of
Cajamarca Department. Another source gave the location as Lucmapampa,
capital of Jorge Chavez distrito, Celendin provincia, Cajamarca
departamento. That is in the gazeeter. The population of the distrito
(1988) is given as 690, which makes it the smallest Peruvian distrito
to have a radio station to my memory. The location of Lucmapampa is 06
56 04 South, 78 05 46 E, elevation is 2624 meters. The Cajamarca map
shows the town to be about 10 kilometers SSE of Celendin, on a spur
from the main road to Cajamarca. (Don Moore, Iowa)
