used slogan "La Voz de Bolivia",  // 6025 which was poor-fair by comparison.

including address and many other ids, dominant of Radio Aparecida. Ormandy

CHINA (TAIWAN)

7130 R Taipei In, 0830, fair signal with program in Indonesian, heard
signing-off at 0858. Ormandy Mar 5

INDONESIA

6153 RRI Biak, 0910, poor-fair signal with Islamic-style music, later noted
with Indonesian pops and steadily improving in strength. Ormandy Mar 4

KOREA North

6125 R Pyongyang, 0830, fair-good in Korean with talk program. Into Chinese
at 0900, id'ing as "Pyongyang kwang po tien tai". At 0900 parallels were
noted on 7200 and 7580. Ormandy Mar 4

LEBANON

11530 Wings Of Hope, 0600, fair signal in Arabic with id then short
religious message and ME music. Much stronger than evenings UTC here.

NEW ZEALAND

7100 Plains FM, 0758, this illegal SW re-broadcast of Christchurch FMer
"Plains FM" persists, even though the authorities know who is responsible!
Earlier broadcasts were in FM, now in AM and probably using lower-power ham
rig. Sounds like 50 watts from this distance (150miles away). Ormandy Mar 5

PERU (t)

4975 R del Pacifico, 0800, someone here with non-stop English soft pops
after an open carrier. Tunes from Kenny Rogers, Elton John & Rod Stewart.
Noted OC again after 0900. Ormandy Mar 3

RUSSIA

5940 Voice of Russia, 1900, surprisingly good signal with World Service in
English, weaker on // 5920 & 7310. Also noted on 7340 with heavy QRM and
with lesser interference on 9480 & 9890. Ormandy Mar 4

7320 R Rossii, Magadan, 0900, time-pips and id then news in Russian,
fair-good signal. // 7210 Khabarovsk with good signal and weaker from 7440
via an unknown location. Ormandy Mar 5

UNITED KINGDOM (p)

6125 Merlin Network One, 1900, poor-fair signal in English with rock music
after full id, some co-channel QRM. Ormandy Mar 2

ZAMBIA

4965 Christian Voice, 1900, poor-fair though clear with identification then
religious instruction. Other Africans noted were Nigeria 4770, Lesotho 4800,
Uganda 4976 & 5026, Zimbabwe 5012, Tanzania 5050 and Zambia 6265. Ormandy
