[HCDX]: LA LOGS
This week with too much LA stations bandscan. YO are free to distribute this
info
On 7-3 there was good signal in the 60 mb from Brazilian stations but on 9-3
though there was not passage at early times there were some Peruvian stations
logged IN contrast to it the 31mb Brazilian stations were always there with
nearly same levels
Moreover there was a real problem with the 20-m antenna. After abt 1 month of
usage the level of the antenna has been very much deteriorated to the levels of
the 6 m antenna and less . The download of the 16 m copper wire was with a
aluminum #16 abt 4 m. Replacement of this aluminum wire with a #14 (1mm) copper
wire provided the signal strength as of the first days of operation of this
antenna. Hope that now this wire junction will not deteriorate the efficiency
of the antenna!

AMN: AM Narrowband (2.5kHz) AMW: AM wideband (4.5kHZ)
BOLIVIA 6135 R was very poor at 2315 for both days
BRAZIL , 4805, R Difusora ,Manaus ,Mar 9, 2205 man in talks Signal by Long
path faded out after 2235
BRAZIL , 4885, Clube do Pará - Belem ,Mar 9, 2159, man I PP speaking on
Brazil and Uruguay . An ID at 2200 ?esta es ?? not clearly catched though
seemed as Clube do Para . One relatively easily catched signal from Brazil and
mostly early. Signal was 32332 Liangas, Retziki Greece
BRAZIL, 9530,R N Visão, Sta Maria, Mar 9, 2242, man with talks possibly with
news /reports. Strong co-channel QRM from another stn with low voice
modulation Only for SSB with 22332 ( thks DXW155 for the QRG ) Liangas ,
Retziki Greece
BRAZIL, 9565, R Universo Curitiba ,Mar 7+9, 2205 man in strong PP language
seemingly religious program. Signal is 22342 much better on 2339 nearly same
but on AM-W. ON Mar 8 signal on 2233was 21332 at AMN on the 20 m ant with very
strong QRM from 9562/68 On 2348 with station on 9562/8 off Universo was
good same levels but at AMW with man on religious themes and refs to São Paolo
Liangas , Retziki Greece
BRAZIL 9615 R Cultura , São Paolo ,Mar 7+9, 2210 man and woman in talks , refs
to rubricas , in PP with ID ?R Cultura ?.musica? . Light song follows and
signal 23332. Tune in on 2226 with a jazz song and again tune in on 2323 with
song .On March 9 at 33333 at AMN with presumed news and too many refs to Brazil
ON Mar 11 with great signal as 33333 Liangas , Retziki Greece
BRAZIL, 9645, R Bandeirantes ,Mar 7, 2215 man in fast Portuguese ¯ name
Alexander heard . Some QRM from a Chinese stn. Low 22332 Liangas, Retziki
Greece
BRAZIL, 9665.1, R Marumby (t),,Mar 7, 2215, PO man preaching 22342 Best in LSB
On Mar 9 at 2355 man with talks and small musical intervals. ON 2358 R Romania
Intl started in this freq. wiping out the station Liangas , Retziki Greece
BRAZIL 11830 RN Arhangguera,Gioania, Mar7, 2353,OM thanking and continuous
talks wth relig refs , Signal over R Romania 22332 Liangas , Retziki Greece
PERU, 4870,R Majestad(t), Huancayo, Mar 9, 2330 ,OM and YL on news and reports.
Marginal signal on SSB l as nearly 14131 Liangas , Retziki Greece
PERU, 4918,R Cora del Perú,Lima , Mar 9,2331, station jingle heard as ??del
Cora ??. Signal on AMN with strong QRM from 4915 so better USB but levels
were 14121 w/o 752c Liangas , Retziki Greece
COLOMBIA, 5055, Faro del Carribe, San José ,Mar 11 , 2220 , man and woman
talking in SS >marginal to poor on USB with music beat sounding better
Suffering from co channel QRM About 222 Liangas , Retziki Greece
9650 Em Ciudad del Montevideo, Mar 11, 2253, OM with emphatic speech, style
seemingly soccer with a probably goal that time 2253Low signal 22332 on USB
with some co channel QRM ¯ carrier only- Liangas , Retziki Greece
BRAZIL 5035 R Aparecida //9645 , Mar 11, 2309 , OM in news ( refs to streets ,
Cuba etc) Small carrier QRM , 22332 on USB Liangas , Retziki Greece
BOLIVIA, 4472, R Movima,Mar 11, 2259 , a song then man speaking, clock again
man. Signal also marginal 11331 with only LSB best as in all other modes
there is a strong QRM from a ?noise? carrier on 4473
