Radio Pasteur is a radiophonic production of Pasteur Group,
an educational-cultural enterprise. This project was borned
from the journalism workshop of the College Nr.19 'Luis Pasteur',
in the city of Buenos Aires, federal capital of the Argentina Republic.
This educational project is managed by the journalist and
DX-er Claudio Morales.

The Radio Pasteur Project offers to local and international
broadcasts a weekly hour time named 'Special Radio Pasteur'
about Ecology and Envyronment, Customs, Traditions, Social
and Human Rights, Geography and Argentine and Latin
American History.

The radiophonic material is produced by young journalism
students who work with responsability and may be weekly
listened in a special emission of FM90 Devoto (90.1 MHz.),
every Friday from 16:00 to 17:00 local hour (19:00 to
20:00 UTC time). Radio Pasteur is retransmited parcial or
complete by 30 radiostations on AM and FM of Argentina
and bordering countries.

The inform contains news, chronics, reports and investigations
produced by the young journalists. So the different report
groups take the necessary information that was elaborated
in 'Ecos de Devoto' and reorganizated to be included into
the Radio Pasteur for it's broadcastings, while the chiefs of
the differents sections take note of the most confiable and
objetive national written and radial informations.

Radio Pasteur in it's radio programme started its broadcasting
beginning in 1997, after intensives exercises in a community
station of FM radio. The project remounts since 1995, year
that Radio Pasteur started as a speaking radio at school.
Lastly the authorities of the Education Secretary of the
Buenos Aires Government required to install the radio in
different students shows with a very important support
from the students of all the city.

The educational plan of Radio Pasteur includes documental
radios about contemporary subjects in Argentina relationed
with impunity and the defence of human rights in a country
that felt during the decade of 70's and 80's one of the worst
politically and socialy moments.
