INTERNATIONAL REFUGEE DAY, 16 JUNE 1999 - JOIN THE SOLIDARITY ACTION OF AMARC 

On 16 June 1999, community radio broadcasters around Europe will join forces
to raise awareness of the situation for refugees in or coming to Europe and to
develop the use of the media to provide support for and meet the
communications needs of refugee groups. At the heart of the campaign will be
an international broadcast using satellite, short wave and the Internet and
local solidarity actions by members of AMARC. The event marks United Nations
International Refugee Day 1999. 

WEDNESDAY JUNE 16 we will broadcast this event live on our frequencies; try to
listen from around 1800 UTC on 3905/3935 kHz AM and 11470 kHz USB!!!
