[HCDX]: LA Loggings from SW Germany

Dear DX-ers,

For Tropical band DX-ers in West and Central Europe :

In the last few days I have observed good reception conditions on the
tropical bands (mainly 60m, less on 90m) towards Bolivia and Peru.

Sacrificing a few hours of sleep can bring a great harvest in stations that
are normally difficult to hear.

Here is a summary of my logs :

3310, R. Mosoj Chaski, Cochabamba, BOL, June 19, 0015, Talk in Spanish and
Indian Language. Huayno music. Good signal, but detoriating towards 0100.
Best reception on USB. SINPO 32332.

3325.0, R. Super Tupi, Sao Paulo, B, June 19, 0321, Presumed. Pentecostal
type preacher in Portuguese (emotional, vibrating voice). Also normal talk
in between. SINPO 23222

4471.9, R. Movima, Santa Ana de Yacuma, BOL, June 19, 0030, Spanish talk,
Andes type music. SINPO 32332.

4552.3, R. Tropico, Trinidad, BOL, June 19, 0040, Presumed, Spanish talk,
Andes music.

4702.2, R. Eco, san Borja, BOL, June 19, 0035, Presumed, Spanish talk

4845.0, R. Fides, La Paz, BOL, June 19, 0010, Presumed Talk in Spanish, time
check as "Hora de Bolivia", but no true ID. Strong het from Brasilian on
4845.2. At 0100 increasing qrm from a second LA station on this frequency
(R. Keckchi, Guatemala ?). SINPO 33333

4855.0, R. Centenario La Nueva, Santa Cruz, BOL.; June 19, 0000. Full
Spanish ID. Surprisingly, not a trace of R. La Hora (Peru), normally heard
around 4885.6. SINPO 24332

4875.0, La Cruz del Sur. La Paz, BOL, June 19, 0008. Talk in Spanish and
apparently in an Indian language. Religious program. 0100 Spanish, address
in La Paz, ID sign off (no National Anthem). SINPO 33333

4904.8, R. La Oroya, La Oroya, PRU, June 19, 0328, Peruvian music and
Spanish talk SINPO 24332

4914.4, R. Cora, La Paz, PRU, June 19, 0330, Spanish talk. SINPO 32222.

4964.97, R. Juan XXIII, San Ignacio de Velasco, BOL, June 20, 2350,
Presumed. Spanish talk and ranchera type music (not the Huayno type). No
proper ID, but only station listed here. Gone at re-check 0055. Conditions
this night much less than on June 19 !, SINPO 24332.

Surprisingly 4926.6 (R. San Miguel, Riberalta, BOL), which is normally one
of the easiest Bolivian 60m stations was not heard, other than by
observation of a carrier around this frequency.

On June 19, 0100, I also observed many weak signals on 90m, corresponding to
other stations from Peru (3250.8, R. Comas, 3330.6, R. Ondas del Huallaga,
3340, R. Altura). However, they disappeared shortly after, without further
opportunity for ID.
