Antenna system: cardioid array with BBL-1 broadband loop,

First Part - East Harwich, Cape Cod, MA (70.021 W / 41.713 N)

Conditions were moderately auroral, causing northern Europeans
to be poor. Best European signals were from Spain. Latin
American signals were numerous, though rare catches were
not to be found.

Second Part - Duxbury, MA (70.651 W / 42.047 N)

Conditions continued somewhat auroral with strong signals
from Spain, Morocco, Algeria, Azores, and the Canary Islands.
Latin Americans, starting with Brazil, started rolling in
right at sunset. By midnight UTC, most of the best potential
DX had been logged and conditions were returning to more
normal, with Canadians gaining strength. I was dividing
my listening time between DXing and the Red Sox - Yankees
baseball game on WEEI-850 (Sox won 13-1 ... yeah !)
