    Monitoring of 12140 usb on UT Dec 04 and 05, from Victoria, B.C.:

    On Dec. 04, between 0100 and 0830 UTC, lots of static crashes. Also 
lots of digital bursts and other utilities traffic until about 0600 UTC, and 
thereafter nothing at all.
    On Dec. 05, between 0100 and 0800 UTC, digital bursts and utilities 
traffic until about 0530 UTC, and thereafter nothing at all.

    My listening post is fairly modest--an R-8 connected to a fifty-five 
foot T2FD with the high end mounted at only twenty-eight feet, so some of 
our fellow hobbyists with better arrangements may fare better than I have 
with this frequency. I will continue to monitor periodically, and let you 
know if I hear anything of note on 12140 usb.
