First to wish you again a happy Y2k to all . from my side my computer did not have any
problem on 3th of Jan possibly due to IE5 environment installed . In contrast to it my
bro?s in law his computer had a little problem ( with IE 4 installed) as its date came
down to 4-1-80 !
Prior to logs on 31-12 we had a new snowy mountain that caused to the our local
netwirk of the grid company to have a power outage for 2 hrs , 3 hrs before the new Year
( or millenium if you like) . The national TV network shown the special transmission
from BBC with the change of millenium throughout the world with first change in Kiribati
and last change in Samoas
As with the previous 10 years I have heard the change of year on 1600 with CNR 1 which
for the first time had a continuous program and after the usual sign off on 1735

ads and self ads then with talks in CC ?clear? after unID s s-off , 22432 ( from nearby
freqs)

Jakarta 32232 with strong QRM from another in chinese
SAIPAN ( per WWDXC# 445) 11870 KFBS 1005 , in chinese is strongly QRMEd from 11875 from
RFE (?) in (pres) turkmen so reception was only 21232 .Best only in LSB
