The entire country of India was being heard well on 60 meters at my Pacific
Northwest USA location on Saturday morning Jan. 22 (UTC). This was just at the
onset of disturbed geomagnetic condx; the following morning seemed relatively
mediocre for Indian reception.
INDIA. 4895, AIR Kurseong 1519-1540 Jan 22, male and female ancrs in Hindi
to 1529. Regional nx in EG at 1530, with AIR ID by woman at 1538. Fair but
clear, and parallel twelve (!) other outlets on an excellent Indian morning. The
most Indians I've hrd parallel previously has been five. Other outlets
noted in parallel were: 4760 Pt. Blair (gd); 4775 Imphal (fair); 4800 Hyderabad
(gd); 4820 Calcutta (gd); 4840 Mumbai (gd, not // after 1530); 4850 Kohima
(pr-fair); 4860 Delhi (fair, but not // after 1530); 4880 Lucknow (fair); 4910
Jaipur (fair); 4920 Chennai (gd); 4940 Gauhati (poor, under strong Fuzhou); 4950
Srinagar (pr-fair beneath Pujiang). Most outlets faded substantially by 1610
recheck except 4840 Mumbai which was still gd. All stations hrd best on the K9AY

with nx bulletin in EG. Female ancr with ID at 0610. Fading by 0622. Also noted
