[HCDX]: Who's on 1650?

Hi list:

help is needed on this one:

a station totally overriding WHKT with sounding '? West Network News'
with Don McNeil on the hour.
After 7 minutes of news a station iding as 1650 AM KDJR. This was  
confirmed by Martin Elbe as well.
KDNZ's website say they have CBS news - who's that?

Last night WHKT was heard with all sports, no news on the hour but  
several clear ids - a change of format?
