I have heard and QSL'ed the Shalath, BC LPRT (CBKN) and is heard here quite
regularly. So that's probably what you're hearing.

Also, I just installed the NB7030 NB/Notch board, FPU7030 CPU & 400 memory
EEPROM chips and a Collins 6 kHz mech. filter in my AR-7030. Only reason I
waited so long is because AOR wanted the equiv. of $410 for these. I found
them in VA at closeout for $138 for all. Took about an hour to install. I am
VERY impressed w/ the auto-notch and even the NB works well. For some
reason, the 7030 got much quieter; probably a combo of the CPU & the board.
Definitely worth the money!
