[HCDX]: Sony ICF 2010 synch problems

Hi,

I am in the process of checking all the equipment that the lady in the
neighboring town of Calpe is selling. Most of the receivers work fine but I
have found a little problem with a Sony ICF 2001D (alias ICF 2010). The
synch does not work properly. Sometimes it makes no effort to engage at all,
othertimes it won't stay locked (synch lights will flash). It this a serious
problem or can this be fixed easily? Any advice is welcome.
