MAJOR PROJECTS OF HCJB'S ENGINEERING CENTER

Tropical Band Transmitters: Staff recently installed
the first of 11 1,000-watt transmitters at ELWA in
Liberia.  The next one will go to the Dem. Rep. of
Congo late this fall.

Digital Shortwave: A team is developing hardware and
software to modify existing shortwave transmitters to
broadcast digitally.
