Yes, I do remember the Zeniths well with the darn 1L6. Even back in the
early 60s when I had one, the 1L6 tubes were not cheap then. I think
when all the others were a couple dollars each, the 1L6 ran about 10-12
bucks. Ouch! That was expensive in those days.
   I don't use the SP-600 as much as I used to because of the noise
levels. A person really needs a good noise blanker in these days.
