[HCDX] QSL from Radio Sombor 1188 kHz
Hi !
Recently there has been a debate about the origin of Radio B92,
Yugoslav opposition transmissions on 1188 kHz. One of the theories
claims that this broadcast came from Hungary. Today I received an
e-mail verification from Radio Sombor.
Radio Sombor's QSL claims that Radio B92 was indeed broadcasting
a program of Radio B92:
"Thank you for your kind letter which was given to me this week! You were
indeed listening to the program of Radio Sombor which was at that moment
transmitting the program of Belgrade's independent Radio B2 92 (Radio B 92
got under the government control last year).
Of course some changes happened
in this country after you sent us your letter, so perhaps Radio B2 92 will
change its name back to B 92. You can find all the info you need about this
legendary Yugoslavian station if you visit:
www.freeb92.com
Hope you're gonna tune in again!
Lots of greetings from Ivan
P. S. - Radio Sombor is always looking for cool music from around the
world. Any kind of musical contribution (CDs, recorded CDs... either local
or "global" music, compilation albums, various artists... ) to the program of
Radio Sombor is welcome... and will be mentioned!
"
