[HCDX] Re: Hard-Core-DX digest, Vol 1 #396 - 10 msgs

In a message dated 01-03-24 05:52:40 EST, you write:

<< I believe the value of your poll is very limited indeed as you yourself
have already determined what the stations are shortwave listeners listen
 to.
Furthermore it excludes a great deal of listeners who do not listen to
the stations you listed but to other stations (such as most European and
Asian broadcasters that are not mentioned).
If this poll is to have any real value, you should give the possibility
to vote for any station broadcasting on SW and not only a very limited
 number...

I agree, Herman, except that the free polling service I use is set up to
allow only ten choices. So I'll be doing follow-susp polls, to include other
choices. I thought I'd begin with some of the powerhouse signals. Remember,
International Listener is just a hobby page, and I must use free services in
making up the pages, such as the link counter, the polls, the re-direction
service, and even the very two megs or less of space the site occupies. The
"dot-com" address was a Christmas gift from my wife.

Thanks for taking part in the poll. I'm getting more participation in this
one than in previous questions. Results will be in the April "Shortwave
News" section of International Listener.
