Re: [HCDX] Koran on 1386
Mauno, dx community!
things are rather mixed nowadays at IRN side.
I noted that too.
1386 in particular, is irregular, ON/OFF, or coming with different programs
(usually I heard Arab in par. to 6200, as
you noted).
Anyway, when theu are off, there is space for KEN between 2100(RUS
s.off)-2106v(s.off) and later for supposed
GUI (hrd a couple of times at threshold levels during last week)
1386 IRN looks like 10kW at best
So Q: what was/is audible recently from Balkan at arnd 1700 on 1386 (can
trace them few min. while Bolshakovo gets its S)
YUG?BUL? (music tunes) Tk,possibly ID at 17 was illegible.
BTW, 963 khz IRN ? Never told a word. HQ sx only. Fade in var.here
1550-1610. Until 1640-1700, then overtaken by
CYP, FIN, BULs, an unid relig.RUS...
IRN Aug 5
1377 1707- IRN (Birjand?) IRIB-1 (//15084) M nx. Weak. Faded out 1710, back
1711. 1713 NA, s.off.

signed off at 2130. But tonight I hear TWO Iranian stations still at 2230,
the other with one in Arabic and the other with IRIB 1st px // 1503. Neither
of them can be 400 kW, they are much weaker than 1503 kHz. I wonder what is
going on there?
