DX NEWS-----------------------------------------------------------
I monitored RRI Jakarta on 9 August at Jakarta.
999kHz and 94.95MHz was operated 24hours.
At 2130 2 programs ere already started.
1.  99.85MHz//103.0MHz
2.  999kHz//94.95MHz
At this time other frequencies were not operated.

105.1Mhz signed on at 2140 and 104.05MHz and 93.2MHz signed on at 2145.
At this time still devided to 2 programs.
1.  104.05MHz//93.2MHz
2.  999kHz//94.95MHz,99.85MHz, and 103MHz.

After Jakarta news at 2200 103MHz was finished and still devided 2 programs.
1.  104.05MHz//93.2MHz
2.  999kHz,//94.95MHz,99.85MHz,and 105.1MHz

At 2240 became 3 programs
1.  99.85MHz//93.2MHz, and 104.05MHz
2.  999kHz//94.95MHz
3.  105.1MHz

At 2300 103MHz signed on again and after Jakarta news at 2300 devided 6
programs.
1.  99.85MHz
2.  105.1MHz
3.  104.05MHz
4.  999kHz//94.95MHz
5.  93.2MHz
6.  103.0MHz

In my impression The programs of RRI Jakarta were compretely established their
network yet because sign on time and pararell frequencies in the morning were not
same everyday.

remaining on air with open carrier at the relevant times.

QSL INFORMATION--------------------------------------------------

RRI Fak Fak 4789kHz: Partial data letter with $1 in 86days. V/s Muhammad Sanaki.
(Yasuhiro Ishizaki via IDXC No.148)
RRI Merauke  3905kHz: Received via registered mail from Indonesia was my
prepared card signed and stamped with all the details filled in. This was in response
to a registered f/up report in Indonesian, audio tape, and mint stamps (used)
mailed from Hungary for a November 1997 reception.  7,500 rupiah postage was
on the envelope. The v/s is illegible. (George Maroti via Cumbre DX No.361)
RRI Serui 4606kHz: Full data prepared card received in 7 weeks for an Indonesian
f/up report, audio tape, and mint stamps (used) sent via registered mail from
Hungary.  This was in response to a March, 2000 reception.  There are two v/s on
the card.  One appears to be Y. Kaisiu, the other is Mika Numberi, Asistem Manajer.
This card was mailed as a postcard, and wasn't enclosed in an envelope.  I use 67
pound cover stock for printing my own cards, and surprisingly the card survived the
long journey without any damage. (George Maroti-NY via DXplorer)
