Oh yes, receiver-generated harmonics exist. Part of the skill of harmonic
DXing is to be able to tell the difference between those and real
transmitted harmonics. Here, I get the second harmonic of Flevo 747 at about
S5 on 1494 on my R71E. The first time I heard it, I thought it was an
Amsterdam pirate :-)

Although I work for Radio Netherlands, I am participating here on an
individual basis. Opinions expressed are my own, and do not necessarily
reflect the official position of Radio Netherlands.
