music, good signal
with barely a trace of WNNZ; //890. (Chiochiu-PQ).

670  Venezuela YVLL R. Rumbos, Caracas, Distrito Federal, SEP 15 0332 -
dorbells, man in SS
with "Noti-Rumbos Informa" mention. Poor signal with lots of splat from
local CINF-690
(50 kW at 8 miles away !). (Chiochiu-PQ)

710  Cuba R. Rebelde synchros SEP 15 0411 - SS talk by a woman, fair in
mess with WOR and
CKVM. (Chiochiu-PQ)

750  Venezuela YVKS Radio Caracas Radio, Caracas, Distrito Federal SEP
15 0357 - poor-fair
over/under WSB/poss. HJDK. Sign-off time: man saying "Imno Nacíonal
interpretado par la
Orchestra Symfonica de Venezuela" then into Gloria Pabo Pueblo YV

750  (t) Colombia HJDK Caracol, Medellín, SEP 14 0356 - Brief fading-up
under WSB/YVKS with
SS vocals by a man. The other Caracol channels were all filled with
domestic QRM, so

music, RCN ID. Fair,

items was that
"el comandante Fidel Castro" has inaugurated a new school of formation.

900 Mexico XEW La Voz de América Latina, SEP 15 0432 - First confirmed
mexican; ad for the
Radiopolis web-site at http://esmas.com followed by an ad for "Eco
Mexicana" then into
talk pgm. Fair signal with deep fades, in a solid CHML null.

with FF talk about the
terrorism in the United States followed by a Francis Cabrel hit. (BC-PQ)

The last night I had my best LA opening in months !!!! Logging Mexico
for the first time and hearing
all these cubans, venezuelans and colombians was verry nice. The LAm
condx should get even better
as we get more and more darkness.
