RE: [HCDX] QSL-ing

I really enjoyed Andy's comments on QSLing. I totally agree that is the
way it should be. But, unfortunately in this day getting full detail
QSLs are almost impossible in many cases. I have over 3200 QSLs in my
collection, AM, FM,TV,SW, etc. I have been at QSLing since 1965. In the
early days I would write a station trying to get full details. Quite
often I would get it. Today, you are lucky to get any reply from a MW
station. I have started to get FAX and e mail QSLs. I don't like them,
but if you are going to be QSLing, you have to take what you can get. I
generally send tapes with my reports to prove I heard the station. I
have doing this for years along with a typed report. It costs extra
money, but it is worth it.
