BBC MONITORING TO CEASE PUBLICATION

As of 29 November 2001, BBC Monitoring will cease publishing the
weekly "Broadcasting Schedules", according to a letter of October 5
from the Monitoring Marketing Unit.

Credit will be made for unused values of subscriptions.

The schedules have been available on a yearly subscription basis, and
delivered by E-mail, at a cost of 99 Pounds (A$270), somewhat
expensive for hobbyists. I have found the schedules to be a useful
source of reliable and topical information in support of broadcast
engineering consultancy and monitoring work.

A small number of DX Clubs had subscribed to the schedules.
