[HCDX] DIGITAL AUDIO BROADCASTING - TECHNICAL OVERVIEW PAPER

To all members,

There are many developments occurring globally associated with the
introduction of Digital Audio Broadcasting (essentially the Eureka 147
platform) as a replacement for VHF-FM, and the phasing in of Digital
Radio Mondiale (DRM) technology as an eventual replacement for delivery
of AM signals on frequencies below 30 MHz.

I have prepared a Technical Overview Paper, from an Australian
engineering perspective, of the general status of DAB and DRM, which
includes a number of references and contacts for further information.

This technical paper is too long for inclusion here, and I would be
happy to send a plain-text version to anyone who requests it, at
bobpadula@xxxxxxxxxxx

Best regards
