Re: [HCDX] WFLA address

Dear Gisle,

the explication of Marie Lamb is perfect but I know only one WFLA NEWS RADIO 97 operating from TAMPA on 970 kHz and utilizing 25870 kHz with 100 watts link.

I have got some year ago a nice qsl card for a report sent after listening to their link on 25870 kHz NOT 25780 as you has written in your e-mail (usual stump mistake??).

According to SMART PAGES informations WFLA operating on 970 kHz

has the following address: 4200 W.GANDY Blvd # A, TAMPA, FL.33611.

in fact it is the address I utilized to send my report.

What happened to the other GUY who sent a different reply ?

He just mixed up WFLA with another station operating from Florida on 540 kHz ......why ?? cause this station WFLF on 540 kHz has a web page :

Really funny indeed.....but unfortunatly also totally wrong.....

I hope dear Gisle you have not yet sent your report cause it will arrive to the wrong station....cause you have heard WFLA NEWS RADIO 97 on 970 kHz from TAMPA.

I finally suggest instead to send a reply incorrect, just to become a STAR of HCDX, it is better to spend the time in a more constructive way.

Nothing of personal naturally, this allow to all the friends collaborators to our network, in the case they send incorrect TIPs or informations.
