[HCDX] Logs from Lefkada
Series of logs in Lygia Lefkada (Ionian islands) 23-29 of August with add ons on 7
and 8 of Sept 2002 and many antennas
For MVT7100 : its telescopic antenna or a ca. 6 m folded wire over TV plug then
TV2BNC adaptor ( both wire ends connected to UHF plug)
For ICOM R75: 16m [auxiliary antenna] , 2x12 m (dipole) antenna [primary]
connected on MFJ 1025 noise canceller and 1x1.5 m rectangular antenna around
window. My problem is that 2 months ago a strong QRN generator causes a S9+10
noise across many bands
[Syria] 12085//12115 V of Homeland? Heard on 23 at start of their program with a
reference ?Syria ke fatrah? over a Arabic song /hymn , a recitation to Allah Wattani
al sawt then with recitaions . On 25 with mainly a music program and short
references to Lebanon . Today 8.9 there was a signal since 1445 on 1215 that
stopped om 1450 and again started on 1458 with signals on both 85 and 115time
difference is abt 3 secs for now with mainly music program. Signal S9 to +10 on
dipole 2x12m ( Liangas 23+25.8 and 28.9 )
[Kazakstan] Radio DAT 9775 Today I heave heard a signal on 9775 with man with
talks in RR on 1506 over a CHN signal . Signal is abt max S6 with a 2x12 m dipole
but difficult to listen 1529 hrd a ref to internet .Dat and Kazakstan but seems to pass
1530 with better signal than the chinese station with clear ID at 1545 in Russian and
references to Washington Post (Liangas 8.9 Thessaloniki Greece)
AFGHANISTAN (via Norway) 18940 V of Afganistan On 25.8 there were short
connection problems at 1340 . Program with reference to a seminar ( Voshat Ven)
ON 1450 with a program for children in Kabul . Signal of 6 units on 6m wire
(Liangas 23 .8 on Lefkada and 8.9 on Thessaloniki)
Chinese opera on 11520 amd 15680. Both are clear and strong for 23.8. It seems to
they are key freqs as they are both very clear
SAWA 9505 , 2025 with mix of American and Arabic songs . At 2030? With ID ?
Idaatu SAWA ? as well in 2045 with listeners comments . Signoff on 2100 . Signal
33433 ON 25 found 7105 in parallel with better level ( 42432) Also heard on 0741
on 9715 on 7.9 with S9+10 over a 1x1.5 rectangular antenna mainly used for VHF
on my house, but used also to avoid from lightning problems.(Liangas Greece )
USA (via Germany? ) 15715 High Adventure 1630 in Pushtu? IDing as ?Avaye
Muhabad? from Canada Emphasized talks by woman , religious prg closing by OM
and with a song ? nabalamo? and talks from Esaiah . Arabic program follows on
1700 Liangas 25.8 on Lefkada (Liangas 25.8 Lefkada Greece )
CHINA 15535 CNR2 @2159 after IS with man w ID then with schedule . 34333

INDONESIA 15150 V o Indonesia 2000 with IS and Gamelan, IS , news etc in
English [ a commentary on Malaysia and Philippines , testimonial from Eurpean
people on Indonesia , prg of living together, song from Ita Purnamasari ]. Very good
signal at 44423 (Liangas 25.8 Lefkada Greece )
Russia 7420 Radio Gardarika/Studio 2110 with Russian disco hit songs and with
HIFI type audio.At 2120 with a continuous reel of IS/ID fpor more than 10 minutes
with ?Nyeske v?lna iz perterburga? and email adress { mailto:studioe@xxxxxxxxxxxx }studio@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx (I am
unsure if I copied it correctly ) . Signal 44434 (Liangas 25.8.2 Lefkada Greece )
JORDAN 15290 R Jordan 1030 with Arabic songs ID ?idaatu Urduniya ke
hashemiya?. Good signal . Also on 29.8 on 11690 , 1340 with phone in competitions
. Program closing with Greek song then with Spanish , French , English and another
then 1400 with news (Liangas , Lefkada )
