[HCDX] Transatlantic Longwave on west coast of Florida

European longwave stations strong right now (16 Dec 2002) in Tampa FL:

00:45 to 01:00 EST:	French, 162 kHz, with talk at 0045, song "Enchante" at 00:51, and news at 01:00. SINPO 35453.

01:01 to 01:20 EST:	French, 183 kHz, News (male announcer). Very strong! At times SINPO 45444.

Also, carriers heard on 153, and 171 (171 with barely audible music), amidst LOTS of Beacons.

Pretty exciting! First time for transatlantic longwave DX for me! As exciting as it is tho, I gotta go to bed now!

QTH is Tampa Florida. Equipment is ICOM R-70 with Quantum Loop antenna, in a very RF-noisy house.
