[HCDX] Monitoring Iraq

Hi Dxers,

23-03-2003 - 11787 KHz
0335 UTC : This morning the frequency is clear, my s-meter is not over 1.
0457 UTC :  DW on 11785 is causing a strong disturbance on 11787 with 
French and Portuguese programmes (S3 to S8 till 0530 UTC)
0530 UTC ;  The frequency is clear again
0545 UTC : Baghdad is on the air. I notice the same problem reported 
yesterday  : strong carrier and poor modulation. The carrier is about S9+15dB 
here but heavy distorsion on low level audio.
0551 UTC : A vy strong sig appears. Don't know the origin...
0555 UTC : Better modulation, we hear clearly the chants and music
0557 UTC : DW is back and now baghdad is unreadable but always on the 
air.

I did not try 6175 Khz  :  this frequency appears in old edition of WRTH but 
here strong stations on adjacent channels prevent me to catch anything !

Voice of Iraqi Liberation : Hrd at 0248 UTC on 4025,0 with a very good signal 
9+20 and slight QSB.

Voice of Iraqi Kurdistan : Hrd at 0323 UTC on 4090,0 (reported 4085) with a 
clear and strong signal 9+20. Prog mil mx - communiques and talks in arabic
