Bogdan Chiochiu

Equipment: Sangean 606 with long-wire antenna outdoor for SW, Sangean 606 with it's telescopic antenna for FM and barefoot Sanyo MCD-S830 portable

QTH: Montreal (Pierrefonds-Est), QC

640 GUADELOUPE, Radio Guadeloupe, Pointe-à-Pitre MAY 25 0436-0439 - Woman in FF, very weak under a weak WNNZ. (Chiochiu-QC)

1110 unID, Latin or domestic, MAY 25 0433 - Talk way under WBT, too low and too much WBT to determine EE or SS, but sounded more EE rather than SS; KFAB Omaha, NE on day pattern with a signal strong enough to have remains of nulled KFAB ? (if it was them) through the south bearing of WBT ? (Chiochiu-QC)

1180 CUBA, CMBA Radio Rebelde, MAY 25 0403 - Man in SS way under WHAM. Seemed fair, and WHAM even nulled was very huge. (Chiochiu-QC)

3350 COSTA RICA, Radio Exterior de España, MAY 25 0356 - Woman in Spanish w/ news at fair level. The only 90MB signal besides CHU 3330 kHz and WWCR 3210 kHz wich are not DX (Chiochiu-QC)

15290 RUSSIA, VOR to Southern Europe, Samara, MAY 25 1815 - Russian talk with musical bits beetwen the assumed (?) items (I don't know Russian). Very good. NEW ! Always nice to hear an international broadcast not beamed to North America ! (Chiochiu-QC)

89.9 unID (BAHAMAS ?), May 25 1854 - fading in and out with stereo in and off strongly for just 3 seconds with Caribbean-sounding music. Probably meteor-scatter or very short lived Es. A domestic is also suspected (Chiochiu-QC)

That's it for now !
73 and good DX,
Bogdan
