[HCDX] Radio Itatiaia very good on 5970 kHz

Hi,

although there were no auroral conditions this morning (11 July, 0400 UTC), I could
observe Radio Itatiaia from Belo Horizonte, Brazil on 5970 kHz with a much better
signal compared to other days. No similar improvement observed on other brazilian
transmitters in the 49 meterband. It is the miracle of propagation, is not it?

This talk station seems to be on 24h schedule now (maybe already for a longer time,
not registered due to its weak signal, at least here in the middle of Europe). The
station also seems to be a very bad identifier; in fact I heard no ID, no time
announcement, just talk, talk, talk... Sometimes I wonder what they can talk about
all night long :-) ...... yes, you are right, I should improve my Portuguese...

GOOD DX,
