 Dear DX Friends,
Hi,
I have a the following questions
regarding long wires used as antennas :
1) Do several twisted
wires (insulated) serve as better antennas than a single insulated
copper  wire ?
2) Is signal strength proportional to thickness of
long wires used as antennas ?
3) Which of the above serves as a  better
antenna in high rise buildings where noise level is high ?
4) Which simple method can be used to reduce noise
in shortwave receivers from elecrical appliances in high rise buildings
?
I hope someone somewhere would be able to
help in this regard .
Thanks,
73,
