w/ tlks between Arabic-style singing/chants. Poor w/
touch of splatter via DW, 3995. Unusable at t/out. I
have a listing, courtesy EDXP, of VOIRI, 4000,
0100-0230 in Tajik. Haven't seen a current schedule
lately, perhaps they are signing on earlier?

OM w/ tlks and PT covers of classic US pops, including
a bouncy version of "Ghost Riders in the
Sky"(Yippee-I-A, Yippee-I-O), YL w/ full ID at 0115.

Indo/Hindi sounding mx, hammered by "sweeper" QRM,

4830, VENEZUELA, R.Tachira, 2354-0015, Nov.2,
Spanish/English, OM w/ mx and tlks, US pops by
Foreigner and Whitney Houston. Full ID at ToH followed
by singing "Radio Tachira" jingle. In the clear, tho

4869.7, INDONESIA, RRI Wamema?/Sorong?, 1047-1103,
Nov.4, Continuos Indo mx w/ a bad het that slowly
drifted upwards only to return at ToH. Poor.

Nov.4, English, OM w/  nx commentary, prg. promos,

Spanish, OM w/ lite mx and tlks, full ID followed by
tlk over to the intro of Joan Osborne song, "What if
God was one of us?". back to mx and tks. Fair w/
splatter via 6035, Radio Marti bubble jammer.

relay, 2203-2211, Nov. 3, English, OM w/ nx re Serbian
P.M, Milosevic and UN court, still using singing
"Radio Yugoslavia" ID followed by full "International
service of Serbia and Montenegro Radio" ID. Very weak,

6279, EUROPIRATE/NETHERLANDS, ALFA LIMA INT'L,
0039-0106, Nov.9, techno/dance mx audible under
merciless QRN, Alfred at 0045 w/ positive ID, again at
0103. Best during first 10-15 minutes of reception w/
a few good peaks, then slowly going to hell, complete
mess at ToH. (Barbour-NH)

I e-mailed Alfred just after t/out and received a
reply in 5 minutes! It reads: "Hi Scott. Great to see
that someone did listen to us tonight..it was not
realy great tonight. we are still testing a little on
6279 but soon to close down..we will get back to you
tomorrow..a big thank you in advance. Greetings from

My first Europirate and QSL!!

6959v, UNIDENTIFIED, 0008-0032, Nov.5, Portugeuse, OM
w/ PT pops and ballads, tlk b/w selections, mutliple
SP/PT hams came on frequency at 0024, I gave up
shortly after 0032. Strong signal, though drifting a
bit, until ham QRM. If a pirate it sounded very

7280, CHINA, VO the Strait,Fuzhou, 1023-1036, Nov.4,
Chinese, OM and YL w/ mx and tlks, Chime at 1029, OM
and YL w/ "echo" effects(presumed ID), anmts followed
by more tlks. Fair w/ splatter via 7285, R.Thailand.

and YL w/ tlks and mx bits, drums and YL w/ (p) ID at
BoH, mx chants/shouts? at 2236, still going at 2246

7560, SITE?, TDP Radio, 1956-2032, Nov. 8, English,
CIS tones at t/in, *2000 w/ drums(?), OM w/ distorted
vox, difficult to understand, w/ "Welcome to..?.",
"..for more info..?", "..www.tdpradio.com" over techno
mx, continuos techno/dance mx until t/out. Fair.
