[HCDX] There Really ARE stations down there!

Hi everyone:

Decided to extend my longwire to a full blown 75 meters yesterday. Turned on the radio this morning and logged Australia A.B.C. on 2485 around 1545 UTC with quite a good signal! This is the lowest shortwave frequency I've ever logged. I've never been able to get anything on 120 meters other than WWV on 2500. I always thought 120 meters was kind of a joke but there really are stations "down there" ! Now I have to go reel in the antenna. See you all in about a week. Ha Ha.

When in doubt, String out more wire.
