3315, INDIA, AIR Bhopal, 0034-0047, March 22, Hindi
music and talks, weak but improving under noise floor.

3385, NEW BRITAIN, R. East New Britain, 1040-1114,
March 23, Surprisingly decent reception of local and
tribal-like music w/ Vernacular talks by male
announcer, presumed IDs over pounding drums at 1048
and 1103. YL w/ news at 1103 followed by OM w/ choral
music selections until f/out by 1114. Weak but steady
signal, fair at best around 1100. (Barbour-NH)

4840, INDIA, AIR Mumbia, 0048-0102, March 22, Brief
Hindi music and talks, music from 0052-0100 w/ talk
between mx selections, Presumed ID at 0100 folowed by
YL w/ news. Fair/poor w/ "splatter" via 4845

4860, INDIA, AIR Delhi, 0103-0114, March 22, Continuos
Ko'ran like chanting and Hindi music. Poor.

7105, BELARUS, R.Minsk, 2142-2159*, March 23, English,
Folk music at t/in followed by OM at 2145 w/ "..and
now more news from Belarus" re enviromental
agreements, US Embassy in Belarus and art director in
Ankara, Turkey. "You are listening to Radio Minsk" IDs
between items. Local music at 2151 followed by ID,
production credits, "Thank you for listening" and
music at s/off. Fair signal, tho audio quality a bit
"muffled". My first usable, interference free
reception of Radio Minsk in quite some time!

9740, CLANDESTINE/IRAN, Radio Pedar, *1830-1910, March
23, Farsi, Abrupt s/on over music, "animated" OM,
followed by diff. OM and YL w/ passing mention "Radio
Pedar", presumed NA at 1832, techno/dance instrumental
into long talk by OM from 1835-1855, followed by
continous vocal and instrumental music bits w/ talks
until tune-out. Fair at best w/ the occasional static

11655, MADAGASCAR, R. Netherlands relay, 2017-2039,
March 23, English, "Euroquest" prg. re 1912 Irish
bathhouse and revival of paganism in Denmark. Full ID
and contact info at 2030, "Newsline" w/ international
nx re Hamas, 9/11 Commission, Madrid bombing, etc.
Weak but clear, best in LSB. (Barbour-NH)

QSLs:

LIBYA, VO Africa/R.Jamahiriya, 15435, n/d letter on
"VO Africa" stationary from the Researches and Studies
Section, Listeners Affairs in 853 days, thanking me
for following up on VO Africa programmes, w/ ornate,
green glossy report form mailed in a
hyrogliphic/fresco embossed (front & back) envelope
from the  Tripoli address. (Barbour-NH)

USA(PIRATE), WMPR, 6925, f/d "Dance Party Robot" QSL
sheet in 160 days for a report posted at either the
FRN or FRW. My QSL was one of several found in a stack
left for George Zeller at the front desk of the
SWLFest in Kulpsville, who was kind enough to forward
mine too me after posting the names on-line w/ contact
info for those wishing to receive their QSLs. Thank

Large envelope stuffed w/ QSL cards; one for each
frequency; stickers, "Radio Vaticana: Past, Present
and Future" booklet, Africa Service poster and program
guide along with a frienldy, personal letter from
Festus Tarawalie on behalf of the English-Africa Team
in 55 days for 1 IRC. (Barbour-NH)
